Batching Pan Mixer Outputs

The output of pan mixes can be quite complicated so we have produced a guideline of how the Fibo concrete batching pan mixer cycle works.

The whole process is controlled by a computer, that drives the material belt drives, control valves and weight cells.

The computer is programmed with the concrete mix design and the loading process as described below.

The details below are an example based on a C25 concrete mix. Each mix will give a different output. The fibo plant can be programmed with up to twenty mixes. The water input has been corrected for 3% moisture in the aggregates.

Concrete Batching Plant Type C1200 and B1200

Specification

1200 litre pan mixer with a wet concrete output of 0.8 m3 per cycle. Dosing C25 concrete with a mix design of:

Water/Cement ratio of 0.55
Cement – 298 kg
Water – 155 litres
Sand – 732 kg
Stone – 1050 kg

Step 3 – Stone 36 sec
Step 4 – Waiting time 6 sec
Step 5 – Mixing 60 sec
